I Turn My Birthing Over To My Body and My Baby

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗸.

Our mind is filled with birth stories. The good, the bad, the scary.

Think about if you were going to do a challenging event that brought physical challenges and sparked some fear or worry or doubt in your mind.

How would that go if you stayed in that mindset. Kept hearing bad stories. Watched scary or unsettling videos about it. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗴𝗼?

While we need to have a full understanding of how birth may play out and the challenges you may occur, we also need to focus on the amazing possibilities of what birth could be.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝗯𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘆𝗳𝘂𝗹?
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝗯𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗳𝘂𝗹?
𝗪𝗵𝗮t 𝗶𝗳 𝗯𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴?

In HypnoBirthing we recondition our mindset around birth. We learn how to quiet our mind of outside thoughts. We chose what will be in our conscious mind during birth so that those fears or concerns don’t creep in and take over.

This is more than just reading or listening to positive affirmations. It takes a lot of time, practice and repetition to be able to get into this mindset.

*I would like to acknowledge that birth brings physical challenges that are beyond our control. When those challenges occur, I am here to reassure you, you have not failed in any way. You are still strong and powerful in every way.
